Drain Cleaning / Conroe, Texas

My drain is slow, clogged, or backing up

A sink that won't empty or a shower you're standing in ankle-deep is a daily annoyance, and it tends to show up right when you need it. It happens in every house. Soap, hair, grease, and mineral scale build up in drain lines over the years, no matter how careful you are.

What could this take?

  1. Best case

You may not need a call.

If it's one slow bathroom sink or tub, you can often fix it yourself in a few minutes, and you should try before you call us.

    What should I do first?
    1. Pull the sink stopper or tub strainer and clear out the hair and gunk. That's the most common clog there is.
    2. Use a plunger on a single sink or tub. Cover the overflow hole with a wet rag so it builds pressure.
    3. Skip the chemical drain cleaners. They rarely clear a real clog, and they're hard on pipes and on whoever works on the drain next.

Call us if: More than one drain is slow, water comes up somewhere it shouldn't, a toilet gurgles when other fixtures drain, or the clog comes right back. Those point to a line, not a fixture.

If it needs a repair: A clog near the fixture. We clear it at the drain, run water to confirm it flows, and you're done.

  2. Typical case

    A repair with clear options.

Buildup a little further down the line. We clear the whole line, not just the first few feet, so the same drain doesn't slow down again next month.

  3. Exception case

It may be a bigger job.

The main sewer line is involved, or the drain keeps coming back. Roots, a sag in the pipe, or a break can cause that. We'll show you on camera before recommending anything bigger.

If it becomes project work, we'll evaluate the scope and prepare a separate quote. We'll explain that before you decide.

Everyday repairs / Catalog prices

Your options. Our prices.

Clearing a single drain is priced separately from cleaning the main sewer line, because they're different jobs. Within each, the tiers are about how far and how thoroughly we clear the line, not about the quality of the work. Every option is the job done right.

Every option is professional work. The difference is the scope: what we repair, how much we address, and what that means for you.

Want to know a little more?

What might be causing it—and what will you check?

Understanding the problem

What might be behind it.

  • A buildup in one drain

Hair in a tub or shower drain, or grease and food in a kitchen line. Only that one fixture drains slowly, and everything else works.

  • A blockage in a shared line

Two fixtures that share a line, like a sink and a tub, back up together. The clog sits past the point where they meet.

  • A problem in the main sewer line

Several drains back up at once, a toilet gurgles when the washer drains, or water comes up in a tub or floor drain. That points past your fixtures to the main line out to the street.

On the visit

What we check.

  1. Which fixtures are slow or backing up, and whether they share a line.
  2. Where the clog is, by clearing from the closest access point first.
  3. Whether water flows freely afterward, tested at the fixture.
  4. For repeat clogs, whether a camera look at the line is worth it before more cleaning.
How do I decide which option is right for me?
  • How long it lasts

Clearing just the clog gets water moving today. Cleaning the full line takes the buildup out along its length, so the drain stays clear longer.

  • Repeat visits

If the same drain has been cleared more than once this year, a more thorough cleaning, or a camera look, usually costs less than calling us back again.

  • Downtime

Most drain cleaning is done in one visit, and the fixture is usable as soon as we finish.
